Matthew 24:21 — “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” Trouble and suffering have been the experience of God’s people in every age. The Apostle Paul said that “we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22). So are we correct in believing that Scripture speaks of a distinct future time of trouble unlike anything the world has seen before? Is a belief in the Tribulation biblical? That’s the question we consider in this study as we continue to ponder Jesus’ famous prophetic sermon.
