Luke 8:26-39 — When Jesus and his disciples landed on the other side of the lake they were met by a naked, deeply troubled, demon-possessed man. Jesus spoke with the man and graciously delivered him from the demons who so oppressed him.
In this encounter we are reminded that there is a Devil and he is set upon destroying those made in God’s image. All of the social problems that plague our society today are evidence of Satan’s work. They are fundamentally spiritual problems that require a spiritual solution.
