Luke 12:49-53 — “I am come to send fire on the earth…” Many people today have a superficial and comfortable idea of who Jesus was and what He taught. They regard Him has a largely inoffensive character who’s example we should probably follow. But is that right? Is that who Jesus really is?
In this text of Scripture, which is difficult to understand, Jesus gave His disciples some hard truths about Himself and the impact His ministry would have in the world. We would all do well to pay attention to His words.
