Philippians 2:12-15 — “That ye may be blameless and harmless… in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.” In this sermon, we think about what Paul meant when he told the Philippians to “work out their own salvation.” We then see the particular ways in which he wanted them to do this and why it was so important. What was true for those First Century Christians is true for us today. Our witness to the world has a lot to do with how we relate to each other and how well we exercise self-control in the area of our speech. This lesson in this sermon is a timely one for all of us!
