Matthew 26:36-36 — “O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” In this sermon we reflect on Jesus’ agony in the Garden of Gethsemane. We think about His prayer to His Father and what it says about Him and about His human nature. This part of the crucifixion narrative reminds us of Jesus’ great love for His Father and for us.
