Luke 12:29-31 — “And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after…” In these verses we learn that Jesus’ disciples are to have a different attitude towards the things of this world. What makes all the difference is that they know God as Father, whereas those outside of Christ do not. Jesus’ disciples are to “seek the kingdom of God” and in this sermon we think about what that means and why it is so important.
