II John 1 — “The elder unto the elect lady and her children…” This is the first message in a new study through the Book of II John – a letter in the New Testament that probably doesn’t get a lot of attention. In this simple introduction we consider, (1) who wrote the letter, (2) who it was written to and (3) what the letter is about. We see the existence of a wonderful friendship which serves to remind us of our relationships within the family of God and Christ’s great commandment to love one another.
