II Chronicles 20:14-30 — “And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high.” We can understood why Judah praised the LORD after the battle was won, for He delivered His people in a remarkable fashion. But what are we to make of Judah’s praise before the battle? What does it have to teach us about our praise? Perhaps it reveals a deficiency that we would do well to address.
