Romans 5:5 — “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
The foundation of Christian hope is the knowledge of God’s love. So how do we know that God loves us? The Apostle Paul tells us it is because God the Holy Spirit pours that love into our hearts.
There is a lot of misunderstanding in the evangelical world concerning the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit. All too often He is not afforded the reverence He deserves. In this short sermon we take some time to behold Him, adore Him and give Him the glory He is entirely worthy of.
