Hebrews 1:3 – “…When he had by himself purged our sins.” The shedding of Jesus’ blood on the cross was completely sufficient to cleanse us from our sins. The Son of God did it “by Himself” and so there is nothing for us to do. Salvation from sin and everlasting punishment is by grace alone. This is what we reflect upon as Steve continues our study in Book of Hebrews.
